I know there are still some of you out there that are using newer Ford engines in your trucks - However the Ford EFI leaves you baffeled,

if anyone is interested I came across a site that offers fuel injection that looks like the old webber down draft carbs as well as the fuel and spark computer.
If I ever got that daytona kit car I was going to use that but its not cheap but it does look like the old carb setup not to mention you have one throttle body feeding each cylinder as well as one injector for each cylinder. You also have other comforts such as a TPS (thottle positioning sensor) you can mount as well as being able to use a hall effect electronic dist that works with fuel injection and fuel injection conversion kits.
Heres a photo of it, supposedly they offer it for the 289-302-351w engines.

I would have to find the link but it is expensive.
The price when I last saw it excluding the powdercoating and polishing option it was around $3,000 for the intake manifold alone. You still have to get the fuel injectors, the TPS, computer, ect. When I find the link I will update my post here.
~Update~
Ok you lucked out, I couldnt find the folder but found it.
This first link is for the stack EFI manifold. 302 = $3,095 / 351w = $3,195
http://www.verycoolparts.com/Stack.htm
and this next link is forth Redline Fuel and Spark computer = $1,495
http://www.verycoolparts.com/redline.htm
And this link is the main site and all products they carry.

Look up the following
Megasquirt - Its an EFI ECU
Megajolt - Its an Electronic Ignition SYS using Ford EDIS thats compatable with Megasquirt
JAM Engineering Corp: Products Look up weber throttle bodies.
Build a custom EFI with infinate tuning for about $1500

I won't be running out to buy one soon but will bookmark these two sites for future reference. When I do my pickup I want to keep it all Ford, just so I can fit in with the rest of you on here. I have the 351w and tranny from a 83 f150. I really like the looks of the units displayed on those sites, thanks Rusty_S and 4tl8ford

Flatmotor EFI System
There will be two of these 45MM Throttle Bodies used as air control valves and as ports for sensor mounting. Each body has a pair of 45MM tubes with sync’ed butterflies.
These are based on the Weber DCOE Side Draft Carbs.
They will be mounted to this 4BBl Adaptor
And look something like this
(These are Weber Carbs.)
Then attached to a 4BBl Flathead Manifold
To end up looking like this
(Imagination required to see the Flathead under the setup)
The Injectors will be mounted in the Valve Chest Cavity under the Manifold
And the Flatmotor top off with a set of custom Signature Heads
Taa Daa

If those 45mm throttle bodies would fit on a convential weber down draft carb manifold to make your own EFI like the one I showed in the photos, I think that would be alot better would save money in the long run. Only difference is the throttle bodies on the photo I posted are 50mm each. But I think that might be alittle large for a 30lb/hr injector on a 6500 rpm redline engine that I had planned to use that setup.
On the all ford parts I would agree. Every part on my wishful build revolved around Ford Racing parts. 30lb/hr Ford racing high flow injectors, ford racing T5 wide ratio transmission, Ford Racing dry sump 351W, ford racing scatter sheld bell housing, Ford racing super cobra clutch kit, Autolite plugs, Ford Racing sparkplug wires, Ford racing track lock assembly. But there was alot of non "ford" related parts such as the Pete jackson quiet gear drive timing set, the Mallory hall effect dist for aftermarket fuel injection, mallory E coil, willwood disc brakes, Eagle forged 4340 steel crank (stock stroke) forged 4340 H-beam connecting rods, comp cams hydraulic roller cam kit, comp cams roller rockers, Aeromotive pressure regulator, Aeromotive 90 PSI electric fuel pump, aeromotive fuel filter, ect. But I need to win the lottery before I even can build my dream engine for the kitcar I want to get cause the engine price tag was at the time around $8,000.

The Throttle Bodies will fit all Weber 90MM manifolds (The one you need.)
They also make a Throttle Body that looks more like the original
Ford/Weber setups.
The Throttle Bodies are $400 each about 2/3 the like Weber Carb.
and inline with new Traditional Carbs.
Check out the Ford EDIS Ignition - you may like

Ill check the EDIS out, I orignally wanted to run this magneto on the setup I planned out. It was a HEI hidden inside of a maneto looking dist would really make it look like a vintage styled race engine but it didnt have a computer hook up for he computer to adjust timing.
But either way I will check it out, if it could save money over what I found orignally it would be worth it.
