Oh boy I could sure use that. With more than 200,000 sq I have to clean that would
be perfect. Ill bet its probably 3000 miles from me.

It is a blast to drive and it really builds up your forearms if it's not moving....lol. A few years back I talked to Oshkosh in WI and there was an old timer there that was all about these trucks. There are still (were)? parts available for the blower. It will throw snow 60-80' and he said with new blades 140' is average. Not bad for a 60 year old. As I have said. My goal is to find someone who will restore her not part her out. This forum is great... Thank you to all,
L

I know with some of the conversions (MH and others) the aftermarket companies would buy up some of the previous year models to convert (so it may honestly be a 47 body marketed sold "new" in 48)

That is a sharp truck and honestly if I had the cash I'd be all over it. I'm actually not too far away from you (down near Ludington). I'd love to come up and see it.

Would love to have you. The truck is actually now in Williamsburg, just east of Traverse City on M-72. If you have any plans to come north just drop a line and I'll get you directions. L

Colpsiner,

Awesome truck you have there! (Course, I'm biased, being the owner of a 1950 Ford F-5 with the MH conversion). My truck is a line truck or pole truck, and is complete but needing everything worked on (in progress, slowly).

Sounds like you do not need encouragement, but to me the truck you have is pretty unique, and it would be great to get it restored, not taken apart. Best of luck in finding the right buyer. From my limited involvement so far, folks here are great in giving advice on whatever you need. you can advertise it in the classifieds here, and maybe folks will (or already have) gice you advice on best places to list it for sale...

Duane.
