It's been awhile so I added a few new pics to my gallery on my orphan. Getting into sheetmeatal and body work now.

Very cool, you're doing some great work.

How'd you modify those Cragars? I have a set of Cragars that are also peeling, what did you strip the center section with?

Bobby, Thanks for the compliment. I used a Black & Decker Mouse sander with 150 paper. It has attachments that let me get into the smaller places on the wheels. I went easy and took off as much of the old surface as possible. I used Duplicolor wheel paint, primer, topcoat and then clearcoat. Theyt haven't been out of the shop yet so I am hoping they stand up to the elements.

Thanks for the info on the wheels. I don't know if I'll ever get around to it on my peeling Cragars but it looks like a pretty cool option and sure beats throwing them away.
