2007 Brake Pad Installation Ease?
After almost 25,000 miles it's time to replace brake pads. I'm getting the dreaded squeal when slowing down from around 5 mph to a stop. From recommendations I'm leaning towards the Wagner Thermoquiet pads. I do tow a 7K - 7.5K Travel Trailer occasionally.
I'm definitely no mechanic but I do consider myself to be fairly well mechanically inclined. I'm wondering how big of a task it is to change the pads myself and if fairly simple if there would be any special tools I might need?
Thanks!

Do you have the trailer brakes adjusted properly? Are you using a good brake controller?
Just curious as I have nearly 40,000 miles on my '07 and the original brakes are just fine. Trust me, if they were even near replacement time the dealer would have been all over them!
Trailer is 5,000, not 7,000 pounds though.

I've had great luck with the Napa high end pads, they are quite, not too dusty and wear well. The cheap pads always suck but who knows. I'd check out some EBC brake pads and rotors if I were in the high performance brake business. I have them on my wifes grand prix and it stops on a dime and gives a nickel change.
