Your dealer is incorrect. That is not always the case and in fact, the 2010 Super Duty order banks are opening in May. You may consider finding another dealer and/or truck even though they are rare in your country. If he's that hard-headed and apparently ignorant, you probably won't want to deal with him after the sale should you need to. Have you checked about buying here and having it shipped? For the price he's charging you, you could be in a new truck at U.S. prices.
I would say if you can't correct him and he still is not getting it.... I would be afarid he is trying to sell you a lemon as well.
Here's a thought to debate with him..... they didn't build any 1998 F250's or F350's.... they mass build the 1997's (The whole year... including August) because they were holding off until the superduty's in 1999...... so ask if you can buy a 1998 F350 in 7.3

Well the dealer called today and he had to admit it was a 04. Finally! Man it was great to hear that from him after all this arguing! Thanks alot for helping me out on this one!!
So he cut the price down 500$ to about 38000$ he told me that was the absolute minimun!
Aboute importing a truck over here i think would be just too expensive, after all the norwian taxes and stuff it would probably end up at 70000-80000$ if not more.
So now it stands between a the 04 lariat 6.0 and a 05 6.0 sport (not lariat) but with alot of dents and scratches. about the same milage and price on both.
Im not sure but imay have heard hat the 04 motors are better. are there any other qualitity differents between those years?

You converted the wrong number. His ad says 241,300 NOK which would equal $36,195 USD. All I can say is WOW and I thought I loved SD's!
