Nice Smoken. You get more done in a few hours than I do in a week.

it helps having a system/method and a place for all your tools i just can't wait til i get my own shop built by my house instead of 12 miles away from my house and i am definitely gonna make sure to have a good clean floor not like the shop i work in but the 30,000 lb hoist's are a bonus that are hard to beat

finished up the 78 and drove it home ran great no problems never had one start as easy as this one did didn't even have to adjust timing i bumped the key and it fired up instantly (of course this is after 15 seconds of cranking with coil wire off to prime oil system) it is a very healthy motor now comes the fun part of breaking it in and then doing oil change and a burnout or 3 lol

Did an oil filter change on My '59, and refilled it with fresh 30 weight dinosaur juice. Also filled it up with gas

Replaced the brake booster\master cylinder on the YJ and bled new fluid through all the lines. Pedal is firmer but I still have about an inch of play when I first press the brakes, I'm hoping that it's the shoes that are shot on the rear drums. I'd replace them but I'd much rather swap in a superior Ford 8.8 rear with disks

Took the doors and top off too, hoping I don't have to put them back on anytime soon.

Next step will be some replacement wheels to replace the awful chipped black ones that are on there now. Picking those up in Wichita next weekend

Justin I have a couple 8.8's in my back yard--- we might need to talk a little. :-)

I agree

I'm 90% sure I need 3.73's, I'd have to count the teeth up front to find out instead of relying on the tag. After that I need disk brakes for sure. As for limited slip vs. open I'm going to either put in a performance clutch pack or a lunchbox locker so either would work.

Ya know, heading that way next weekend so I may have to swing in and pick your stash

You can get a drum brake set up waaaaaayyy cheaper then go to the pick it yard and get the brackets and calipers for $10 to convert them to disk! (proven fact-- take a look at mine sometime :-) ) Feel free to drop in any time.
