Not if you train a monkey to sit in there with a little oil can and squirt that chain from time to time.

I am ashamed that I haven't gotten anything done on my truck or jeep recently, we actually have a really hectic schedule, so hectic in fact, that I can't believe we are already into Feb. I will be anxious for school to get out, so that we won't have quite the evening traffic with violin lessens, confirmation class, dance practice, plus the 4 nights a week that my wife and I give plasma. I give two, she gives two. doesn't make much of a family life, at home, but we do get to enjoy our weekends together, usually.

I put fuel in my truck the other day, so now it has a full tank. I also drove POJ (the bronco) a little bit the last few days. Maybe it will warm up a little and I'll work on my projects that I have to do.

How is Ol' Smokey coming? Have you had a chance to do anything with it, now that retirement has settled in?

I've been working on some house projects, so it has been on the back burner.

when I took the Jeep offload the last time, I had a bunch of lights pop up on the dash on the way home. they were slick road warnings, ABS lights, and something else.. I can't remember. I figured a branch might have ripped out a wire while offloading, so drove on home. Last night I did a little searching on the internet and found a few possibilities to look over. I discovered that I had pinched a speed sensor wire in two I will need to repair that and reroute it.

home for a busy weekend, my phone decided to die on me so i haven't been able to get my FTE fix, speaking of fixing while i was away my brother in law installed my new master cylinder on my 78 and new hei dizzy bled the brakes and tuned it up also purchased a set of 5.13 gears for the rear and 35x12.50x15s to get the perfect setup for my 460 for the 1/8th mile also gonna possibly rebuild my c6 since it slips when i catch second until i let off the throttle then it locks in and i'm good to go but that is with 265-75-16s and 2.75 gears so depends on whether the gear drop cures it depends on whether i go ahead and do it..... on a side note bought a 390 last night for $75 had 86k and a bit of sitting time and when my buddy started driving it every day it decided to break all the nylon off of the timing gears and lock up the oil pump but he got it stopped before damage occurred he says but i am taking it to my machinist for a rebuild on saturday trying to decide whether to use 360/ car 390 pistons or silv-o-lite hypereutectic high compression pistons... also talking to a few people on cam choices i have a lunati cam in mind that looks good on paper but idk anyone actually running it...also taking my son to the neurologist in wichita today since he had a bad seizure the other day that makes 4 in 6 months totally unexplained so as stated gonna be a busy weekend

Smoken, good to hear from you again. Good luck with the check up with your son. Hopefully something simple will take care of the seizure stuff. Our oldest had fever related seizures with she was a toddler. That is scary stuff. Meds helped her.

Smoken, that was more than 40 years ago and I don't remember now, but it was something that was pretty common for treating seizures at that time. I think you are doing the right thing getting him checked out. How old is he?

I don't know much about cams. What are you looking to use the 390 to do?
