It will disable the A4WD, but if you want to disable the A4WD just pull the fuse.

(HEAVY SIGH) Okay, I've just got to ask! Why would you want to spend all that money and time just to make your vehicle less valuable?

lookin to do a full air ride suspension and the front 4x4 crap wont be able to handle the extreme angles and so on ,., so my main and only question is if i cut the brown wire this will disable my a4wd but this done will i safely be able to take out my front drive shaft ?

Yes, but even without cutting any wires you can remove the front driveshaft.

but my expedition does not have a selector for 2wd only its only a4wd 4hi and 4low , what im worried about is wen the computer realizes my rear tires slipped and my t-case goes boom or something because it wants to move those front tires but wont be able to

When the PCM senses the rear tires are slipping, all the PCM will do is engage the clutch in your transfer case until the rear wheels are no longer slipping.

If you have removed the front driveshaft, the rears may just keep spinning until you are really stuck. Just carry the front driveshaft with you and if the rear wheels spin until you are stuck, just jump out and install the front driveshaft.

Did you leave the cat in and do a pipe? I can promise you that you did not gain any power from making a 4.6L engine lose its muffler. The muffler probably was restrictive enough for you to gain any power anyway. For everyone else's sake, please put the muffler back on you 4.6L engine, it's not like you have a race car, you have a small tank.
