It only has 35000 miles too. Extra batteries and more. This is one unique van. You have got to check it out. This eBay Motors: Ford : Aerostar (item 120387520735 end time Mar-10-09 08:37:48 PDT) is the link.

Shucks, I thought it was a camper conversion, I wanted to get some ideas. The raised top is a good first step though.

I noticed it had crank windows and no electric lock buttons. I've never seen an Aerostar without those.

I wonder if you can get some Radar absorbing paint. It could be a stealth Aero.

My '95 has no power windows or locks.

You're either smart or lucky, Bax. My '93 3.0 shorty has both. Locks work OK but not windows--yet.
Puzzle to me is that mine's a window van with front and rear air but it's a cargo van, rubber floor, no cutouts for 2nd & 3rd row seats. Can't figure why it came from factory with rear air.

Aerostar Camper Conversion

I have an Aerostar '95 XLT AWD with the Country Homes camper conversion, and it has been a super vehicle for me for several years. General idea is same as the VW Vanagon campers, but with the V-6 power, air, AWD and way more space. Still, it gets up to 20 mpg freeway cruising and is great for winter camping.

Not sure what to do with it now that I use it so seldom, but hate to trade it in on the cash for clunkers program. Sigh!

Diagram on Country Homes site looks great, but am looking for 2WD Aero conversion.
However, what are you asking for it?
