May be possible it caught some air or something. I'm thinking fuel is what shut you down in the first place it would be pretty noticable if it was oil.

 

ok!.. so she drank another gallon of oil !!... but now it is registering full... well almost !!... and still no phantom acceleration when i started her !!... here's hoping the oil is the cure !!....thanks for all the advice people !!.... i will check the tranmission fluid over the weekend... You have to do it while the engine is running don't you ??.... well mum's said i can use the honda tommorrow for work so at least i won't be coming back on a tow truck !!!..........

 

After running straigt veggie oil, I think you need to change the fuel filter.

When you install the new filter, fill it with Diesel Kleen and run a double dose in the fuel tank.

Veggie oil and low temps are not a good combination.

Have you checked your oil again. Make sure you are on level ground.

 

another 100 miles completed and still no problems !.. yes i've checked the oil again !... registers just below the " full " mark !.. once again thanks for all your help and advice...... now how do i get 40mpg !! ha ha!!..... keep on trucking !!.... Tim ( crazy) !!
