9007 bulb fit 2005?

just wondering if the 9007 bulb will fit? I have a set of HID lights that I want to use but am unsure if they will fit...is the wiring the same? bulb fit in the socket?

thanks

9007 isn't HID.
The factory fog lights take a 9005. In order for a 9007 to fit, the housing needs to be trimmed a bit and the latch tweaked.
Cannot answer specifics for your "HID" housing unless we know what it is.
As for wire and socket (9005 to 9007), yes, no probs.

well I have an 02 f150 that I am getting ready to sell and I have a HID kit in it that uses the 9007 bulb in the head lights and I was wondering if it was possible to put 9007 bulbs in the 9008/H13 location on my 05' 250, would they fit and wire similar? they look similar...

I know this is delayed, but I was searching on HID info...

NO, do not attempt to use a 9007 series in an H13 socket. The bulb is placed in the wrong position, an H13 should be used in the '05 F250 housing (as it came with).

I just started a thread on a possible "group buy" on the H13 twin HID kit. Which is actually 2 bulbs, but 4 HIDs...... 2 low, and 2 high beams. It's nearly plug and play for your headlight. I say "nearly", being you have to install the new (but simple) wiring harness.

Check out the thread, it might be something your interested in if you've not found a solution already.
