hehehe...what he said...

mine is a 9/10...since it's non-intercooled. the intercooled gets a 10/10 vote

it creates tire shredding HP that can easily lay down a dual 20 ft burnout...and I've managed a 30ft+ on the slicker surfaces

and you should see a 6,000 lb brick merge onto the freeway...about 410 HP / 480 TQ at the crank...kicking it down a gear on the highway is pure fun

SCT X3 I got the 87 econ 91 performance and 91 tow setting and it woke my truck up alot. Got it from mike from 5 star tunning highly recomended. Wont be like supercharger but its a cheap way to get more power.

bought my non-intercooled for $2,400

$350 for shipping

some gauges and fluids added in and it cost me about $2,850 in all...I think they've sold all of the non-intercooled units, and are now clearing out the intercooled ones for $3,800 roughly

here's a freebie

Remove your spare and leave it in the garage. That's 100 less lbs of mass that you'll try to accelerate around town all the time.

nah, I've been getting 12.5 mpg with 100% city driving...and yes, there is plenty of stupid skinny pedal action. I try to limit wheelspin, but everything else is fair game

Roush was clearing out their old stock for the 2004-2008 models...even though they are saying the Intercooled will work on the 09's as well. I think they're getting ready to drop the F-150 totally.

which would suck, but there are already at least 3 other companies for the F-150 who make a Forced Induction setup

also 80 lbs less weight on the axle = more traction problems

but is a good suggestion if you have new tires and not likely to get flats

Ya I placed a order on mine last september or so I think it was. I absolutly love it. When I first got it premium was so much I was like well I will put midgrade in and lower the timing and it was amazing. Tow setting is amazing I pulled a 14 foot steel utility trailer 500 miles with 2 4 wheelers and got 15 miles to the gallon. On the way up we only had one 4 wheeler and no trailer it was in my truck. and on econon mode I got 15 mpg. So it makes a difference. Now premium is cheaper thats all I run cause its so much fun. I love the way the performance setting is when you hit the gas. This last week I have put regular in on my econ setting and I have been getting 16-17 and thats not being easy on it. Stock I was getting 14-15. Also Mike from 5 star is awsome. He returns your emails like right away and is very helpful with everything. I would recomend him to anyone.

You can get quite a bit of performance out of just a tuner and dollar for dollar the best bang for the buck. It's all I'm using at the moment, but bigger plans are in the works.

Yeah a supercharger will wake the truck up for sure. A tuner would help and would cost about the amount of the shipping for the supercharger.
