Lightbulb installing 4 inch suspension lift

im installing a used 4 inch suspension lift on my 1989 f-150 4x4 with the single shock the lift came off a 89 bronco with dual shocks if i keep mine single will it work or do i hafta go dual

because the bronco is in the wreck yard and i cant get the proper tools in there to get them other wise i would go dual for sure
