WELCOME!
I have Flowmasters and don't care what other people think. It's not an increase you can feel on the seat of your pants. There probably just jealous. There are a lot of good exhaust system out there and everyone has there favorite.

No horsepower gain, or mileage increase, but it'll sound real nice.

I just installed a 40 Series on my 2005 F-150... with a turn-down so it's extra loud and it sounds great. As for MPG... I like to hear the loud exhaust, so I hit the petal harder and use more petro!

I run 1 chamber performance curve mufflers on my 06. Its a flow but without the name so they run 25 bux a pop. I had delta flow 40's on my 78 and swapped them for the same one chambers as my 06. I think it sounds louder. Same tone without the price. Just some info for ya.

Welcome to the site. Most of the backpressure in the exhaust is ahead of the muffler. Probably won't see any gain in HP or mileage. They sound great, though. Probably get a good sound from just a straight pipe where the muffler is also. I love the Flowmaster sound on my Mustang.
