On the front, should have a Dana 44 by application.

Look at the locking hubs
It it is TTB with a 3 1/2" diameter hub is a 44
A TTB with a 4" diameter hub is a Dana 50.
If it is a straight axle with a 4" hub, it should be a Dana 60. At least for the 80-97 vintage.

The rear should be a Dana 70 or Ford 10.25.

Post a picture of the hub.

Outside to outside of the chrome ring.

From your gallery pictures, it looks like a 44.

Are you getting that message when you try to upload new pictures?

Note what the message says exactly or copy and paste the message into a PM and send it to me.

I'll ask the big guys.

With options you could custom order lots of different configurations.

Dana 80 under a 250....that was not a factory option.

Yeah, I know. They didn't have monobeam 60's in 84 anyways (not even in 350's). Only threw that out as a comparison between the 50 and 60 to cover all years.

An 80 in a F250 is not a factory option, and, it was only used in the 450/Super Duty in this body style, 10 lug, with disc brakes. That truck should have had a 10.25 under it's tail, it's entirely possible someone put LH thread studs on the drivers side. Is there a fill plug on the diff cover? And does it have a VSS on the diff?

As for the OP, your truck looks like it has a 44hd front, same as my 6.9 truck does.
If you're having trouble uploading pictures, maybe try giving Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket a shot. It's pretty easy to use.

The Sterling 10.25 was introduced in 1985.

1983/84 F250 rear axle choices: Ford 8.8 / Dana 60 / Dana 61-1 / Dana 70.

Believe it...or not, the Ford 8.8 was installed in some 1983/89 F250's.

I think the security token is something your browser is looking for.

Are you using Internet Explorer or some other browser?
