2006 F-350 Dually Towing Questions
I recently bought a Ford Dually with the Tow Boss Package to transport my 30' Mainship from San Carlos, MX, to the Pacific Northwest, passing through Utah. Being new as a Ford owner, my first question is that with an automatic transmission in the tow/haul mode, is an exhaust brake necessary and/or recommended? If so, what type of exhaust brake?

Don,
The most important thing you should do when pulling your boat is to have a weight distributing hitch. I have an Equalizer and there are several other brands which work well. Also, you will need temporary "Oversize load" permits in every State if you exceed 10 feet in width. This includes daylight driving restriction, signs (front & rear), flags and (in some States) flashing beacons. Please PM me if you any questions-
Good luck
