97 F150 codes P0156 P0161

Ok so heres the whole break down. I live in Alaska, a very cold part of Alaska. I have a block heater, oil pan heater, battery heater on my truck and no garage so my truck sits outside in -50 weather sometimes. Always starts, always reliable. So the other day I start my truck at about -30, the breaker had tripped on the outlet so my plugged in truck wasn't heated. Truck starts, sputters a bit but runs. I let it warm up and it is purring like a kitten but with a code. Misfire on number 6 cylinder P0306 or something close to that. Delete the code, it doesn't come back. So now a week later I'm driving home and I get both P0156 and P0161. I delete them, drive more and the CEL doesn't come back on but I download anyways and keep pulling these same two codes. My truck HAS to idle alot in the winter, there is no way around it. Could I have carbon build up that is messing with me? This truck is pretty cherry, 80,000 miles on the 5.4 and never had anything go wrong other than the IAC last spring, changed it myself due to idle stalling and it runs like a top.

Ideas?

Have you looked up the fault codes yet to see what they mean? That needs to be your first step.

Plug them into the SEARCH tool one at a time and see if they've been previously discussed.
