Help with my 300 six

Can someone help me figure out why my F150 with a 300 six is so weak in power. When I climb a big hill I have to put it to the flooor and it might get up to 35. It is a 1990 4x4 Auto. I am not sure but it seems like gas mileage has dropped alot also. Thanks

my 89 300 5speed pulls pretty good over 2k rpm. I did notice an issue not too long ago that my back 3 plugs were a little fouled compared to the front 3. Not sure if its manifold design or what.

Have you checked over the standard stuff? air filter, fuel filter, plugs/cap/rotor/timing etc.

Sounds like all the 300's I've ever owned, auto or manual, especially auto.

Where do you live, in the mountains, sea level?

my 300 six auto pulls all the way to 70+ on highway, flat or hills.

get a motorcraft oil filter.

even though the light is not on does not mean no codes, get a code reader and read them.

cheap wires, cap and rotor mean bad performance.
