New Diesel Tech

Hello all, I just figured that because I am willing to give my support and help anyone out, I would announce that I just became diesel certified through ford.

congrats!

Speaking of Diesels...I guess the only way to tell the current calibration for the PCM is to put it on the machine?

I had the latest flash in Oct done and it was not correct. The 08B07.

I think there has been a newer one since then, the only way that I can look at the software version is to put it on the machine, and then it will tell me if I can update or not.

You work at a dealer right? Talk to them about looking at a truck someone trades in. See if you can get it for close to the lowball trade in value that's usually thrown out there, especially if it's about to go to the auction.

Just start setting aside a little money each week and you'll have enough saved up if you run across a great deal.

Congrats Marshall, and welcome back to the employed side. I think soon enough that 5k might buy you a NEW one.
