Block Heater

I live in Colorado and I'm assuming the 350 6.0 I just bought does not have heaters on it. Any suggestions as to what works as an after market block heater?

All 6.0L Powerstroke equipped Super Duties have a block heater. Not all of them came with the cord.

But I'm guessing that it is not too much trouble to put the cord in? I'm completely new with this engine so where is the heater located?

From what I've read on here it is usually the cord and not the block heater itself that fails, I've replaced my cord once and my heater still works great.(this was for the guys replacing their block heaters) The block heater is located just above the starter on the passenger side of the motor.

Thanks all. I'll get a cord and plug it in.
