oil filter lines

has anyone had problems with the lines that run from the engine to the oil filter leaking? or had them come apart?

the ones on my 98 Expy. are leaking somewhat. not worried about it for now though. I just keep an eye on the oil and the lines. And when they get really bad I'll worry about it. but for now at about I think iwas quoted about 500 or so for them I'll wait. It's not that bad yet.

It seems as though all remote style filter mounts leak! My buddies' Ford leaks, my dads' Chevy leaks , and the one on my boat engine leaks too!! You would think that they could come up with a better setup. I was thinking about having Napa make up some hydralic line replacement hoses and trying them. I know they will be a lot less than the factory lines. Just a thought

Mine have had a faint leak for years. I looked into replacing them and the cost was ridiculous, even to have the lines made wouldn't be cheap.

Mine is leaking from the same spot. I wish there was something to fix it. I will probably just end up paying the bill to replace it. This is my only leak and it drives me nuts.
