Please Help Starting Issue

Bought a 2005 F150 5.4l that was sitting on grass for 6mo and not driven... Bought it an ran fine for 2days... Started running ruff, so I pulled in and went to go restart and would not. Sounded like the starter was bad, so I took it out and brought it to the part store to be tested, and it was fine threw out.. Ended up having a bad batt, so I replaced and still wouldn't crank, so replaced the starter and it ran fine, or so I thought..
Two weeks later, stopped at a gas station and turn it off, 2mins later would not start.. Crank, but would not throw out... Mech came out and thought the starter was loose but it wasn't, put a jump pack on and cranked over... Started fine for a week, so I talked to people and replaced the starter for the second time... Worked fine for a month, and last night would not start after pulling into the gas station... Got a jump started right up...
Batt tests 100%, Flywheel is Fine, only have 50k????
thinking cable from batt to starter coroded and not giving enough amps to crank... even though it shows 12v... Anyone had this or can help?

Next time it happens run a jumper cable from the positive batt connection to the positive on the starter. If it starts right up chances are, you're right, and the starter cable needs to be replaced. Had the same thing happen to an old car of mine. After replacing a battery and a starter it was a bummer to learn a $20 cable was the problem.

If it were me I would just install a new wire and be done with it, the wire wont cost much or take very long to change out.
Oh and good luck finding the neg wire for the starter.

You could buy 10' of 2ga wire and new crimp on terminals and make the wires yourself for less than $20.

Hello, I figured I would tell every it is FIXED... I replace the Starter 3 TIMES, the Whole Factory Cable, and the Batt.... NONE Fixed it.... Found out the RELAY was Intermit Not Working... Was sending Power to FIRE, but not a full 12v so it left the silonoid to flounder.... Found out because the 4x4 sometimes would not engage or disengage.. Come to find out its the same relay... No Mech could help me, I had to figure it out....

Can you tell me what relay it was that you had to replace? I am having very similar issues.
