Under the hood in the heater box on the pass. side firewall there is a plug with I believe about 4 thicker wires. What it plugs into is bolted into the heater/blower box with two small bolts. This is what controls your heater speeds and when they get older they like to go out. It is in the heater box because to reduce the speed of the blower the current has to run threw coiled wires which get hot. The coiled wires are what corrode and fall apart over time and make the blower not work on reduced speeds.
