I know this thread is super old, but I think the newer Fords seem to be wired the same way because I am having the same problem with the airbag light. But now with the myford touch instrument panel, I'm pretty sure it is an LED that is burnt out, which is not as easy to replace as I believe it is part of the circuit board for the whole instrument cluster. I found the whole cluster online for about $500, but does anyone have any experience or idea how to fix this without replacing the whole cluster?

Can't win! Drag up an old thread and people make fun. Post a question without searching and they get on you for that.
Send a PM to Circuit Board Medics on this forum and see what they say. They're always very helpful when they can be.
Super-old is not less than 2 years. Super old is 1999
Well this thread originated over seven years ago so that seems pretty old to me considering that they were talking about unscrewing bulbs and now I'm talking about soldering LED's to fix the same problem. Kind of a whole new generation.
On the other hand, is that really the source of your problem? It might be more that the ABS system can't communicate with the circuit board. Have you verified the LED is bad?
What he said! I had this issue when I pulled the airbag light because it annoyed me. When I did that the beeping started. Put it back in and it went away. Found about it was a backup.
I was needing to know what bulb it is, I have been searching everywhere and can’t seem to find the correct bulb for this replacement. Having this same 5x5 beeping issue, started today.

I’ve got a 09 f350 and I can find a billion clusters for about $100 to about $200 for nicer ones with greedy sellers. As for the leds, they’re not bad to solder if you take your time and have an idea what you’re doing. I heard if you’re not experienced get a junk circuit board to practice before you work on your own. So of course I got a $10 soldering iron, watched part of a you tube video on how to solder, and destroyed my speedometer. (Note: you can screw up the lights, which I did, but you can also screw up the needles that apparently move a certain way; I did this also.)Just take your time when removing the old LEDs in your cluster- I don’t really grasp the concept of patience so I skipped this step and learned it does make a difference. I also learned that because you fixed one small light in the clock display, it doesn’t mean you’re ready to tackle the cluster with 20 something lights interconnected in a circuit. That being said I hope this doesn’t discourage anyone from doing it themselves, the only way to learn is get in there and let the cards fall where they may. I may only have a few dim lights in my cluster but I have the satisfaction of knowing I didn’t it the right way, I did it my way!🏆
