OK I'm sold on the BFG All-Terrain. (35x12.5R16.5LT/D) The majority of people think they kick but. What is the best price anyone has found? A local place has them for $172.00 each mounted and balanced. 4Wheel Parts wholesalers has them for $164.99 each.

Those are a great tire, but I hope you don't plan on being off road in the mud with them.

I ‘m transforming my 1986 F250 4X4 into primarily a hunting truck. Realistically it will be on the road most of the time. It seems from all the comments they will do just fine off-road, as long as I stay out of the thick mud!

You might want to see if Pathfinder is an available brand in that area. I have a set of 285/75R16 Pathfinder ATR's on my '00 Ranger. They only run about $95/ea, plus mounting and balance. Their tread is very similar to BFG AT's, but have more aggressive shoulders. Haven't had any problems with them yet, and I've put about 9K miles on 'em.
