Fuel filter light

The fuel filter light has been on since I bought the truck. I have changed the filter twice and drained the fuel/water seperator and still it stays on. Is there anything else that could trigger it?

Have you cleaned the screen in the bowl. If not I would start there. It is on the inside of the bowl on the drivers side near the top inside of the small ~1/4" hole. You can access it better if you remove the regulator on the side of the bowl. Be careful not to drop the parts that will fall out as you remove it. You can get a q-tip without the cotton on the end. stick it in the hole in the bowl and scrape it out till it looks pretty clean. Obviously you can clean it better if you remove it. While you are doing this drain the fuel from the bowl (obviously). Then clean out the bowl real good, trying to get all the slop and scum from out of the bottom of the bowl.

Fuel Filter Light Fuel Problem Need Schematic

The fuel filter light comes on the rear tank and starts stalling. I have to switch to the front tank and then when at a light or turning it stalls out when I am on the front tank.. I have put in new fuel pump, transfer valve between the tanks and a few other things. My friend says the hoses to the tanks are not right and I need a schematic for a F250 1995 Diesel 7.3L
I have also cleaned out both tanks and removed the "socks". Also both tanks do not register fuel levels now. I have owned this truck since July. Problem started when have 2 months of running bio fuel the guy switched (without telling me first) that he changed his mixture of Oil 80% and diesel 20% to all oil!
