Seatbelts finally

I finally have my 60 truck back it was gone for a week and a half. I really missed her. I had a race car builder put in a bar to attach four seat belts, here are the pics.

This showes the top of the loop I placed 2 3" simpson off road belts and 2 2" 5pt harnes belts in the center. I thought he was going to place two tubes out the back but then we figured the loop could bolt to the area the fuel tank used to attach on the wall seems to be a good mounting location. I hope this might help someone else.

Great idea!

A close up of how the bar attaches to the truck might go along way to helping others.

Here are some more pics this is the passenger side riser 2 grade 8 bolts

The plate underneath

Further down bar

Under it better view of mounting location where fuel tank was at

And finally hopefully a better pic of the rest of the bar

And please take my advise the 3" belts are cool but they may be a little bit to large he he.
But really there is little to no room for a fuel tank but I am sure someone could wrap a
tube around it and make it fit.

I can't really tell from the pictures how high your top bar is, so it may already be where it needs to be at. You want it as close to shoulder level as possible.

Here's a few links for anyone else doing their harness. Mounting location does matter.

Thanks this is perfect it gives very detailed info very important but also remember the seats are stock so the bottom belt is not in the most correct position. I plan on reduing my bench seat later to correct the orientation for the belts but I will tell you something is better than a steering wheel imprint on the chest much less a solid steel dash does not flex. So do it as safe and correct as possible
