08 center console is in - but of couse I customized it A LOT ! (pic)
Been wanting to do the 2008 center console swap out on my truck. And of course those of you who know me know I can't just put something in - I have to mod the heck out of it ! 
So, first off, I took all the parts off the console. What I wanted was to have a 110 volt port on the back, for the back seat, and have lights inside the console for night time.
I got a strip of 6 white LED's, and used a mercury switch on the bottom of the lid. I ran 3 wire 110 volt rated wire from the back to the front to wire to my inverter. I also cut apart the factory plug and wired up the (2) 12 volt cigarette lighter plugs to that, to be powered from the source to the inverter.
The flat black piece on the forward console that has the inverter will be replaced soon - another custom piece coming for that
Then the 2 side pieces, the back piece and the chrome ring I sent off to Gemico in Florida to have it wood grained. So here are the results, with a couple comparison shots to a stock console
