Talking Guess who just bought another Bronco.

No it's not Matt LOL.

Or is it? Just thought I'd give Matts wife a heart attach LOL.

It is of course me, going to be a parts truck, mostly the part time transfer case and the manual hubs, the rest will be sold off and crushed owww that smarts,
But at least some of this puppy will live on.

Also I will now have the spare cap to make a hard top convertible with and if I frig it up no harm no fowl.

On that note if anyone is a cracker jack fibre glass guy or girl I could really use the help and or expertease.

Rick.

The first step is admitting that you have a problem, C'mon Rick you can do it, the next time you see a bronco for sale ,...just say no!!

I'm one to talk, I've officially run out of space and the Falcon at a friends place, ....and I'm gonna be lookin at a Supercab this week.... so,...what engine is this bronco of yours running?

It's got a rebuilt 351M with 20,000 kms the Body is shot but we tested out the 4x4 gear real good when we got it back to my pals place.

My buddy Jon got it stuck on a large hill of dirt and snow, but I got it off.

Jon drives a GMC diesel and he was nice enough to trailer the Bronco back from Mississauga for me.

We got some great pictures of it before I tear it apart in two weeks for the part 4x4 drive system and cap and engine.

Like I said body is shot but mechanically it runs and drives great.

I will post the pictures when I get them.

Rick.

Frank, the only problem here is that you and I don't have the budget to support Rick's collecting "problem". Otherwise I'm sure I'd have a lot full of old Fords.

Congrats on the find Rick. Are you swapping all the axles over? What's wrong with the ones you already have?

edit: rereading your post that says you're just swapping the part time xfer case over. What's the axle ratio?

I will be taking the pumpkin and engine, drive shafts and drive train, only 20,000 kms on the motor.

I'll be taking the top to make a hard top convertible (any help would be great on making it convertible Top).

Seats and brackets and spare inside mount, dash and all door locks and switches.

Back window and tailgate motor and harness, back bumper and front plow mount.

Lights and signals and a coveted tilt cruise control steering colum, Rad and anything else of value.

Also I laugh at your comment on my money, I'm the cheapest guy going.
Take a second and add up the cost of the items I just listed for their replacement value, even used we are talking $1,000 of dollars well I got the whole truck for $500 plus lunch for my GM buddy who trailered it back not bad I'd say.

What's that Master Card commercial say $500 for a used Bronco great,A buddy who Trailers it home for you Priceless.

Can't forget Handy Andy either he's letting me park it and tear it apart at his country home, that's pretty nice of him too.

With the help of friends anything is possible.

Cheers, Rick

Ok let's use the word frugal LOL.

If anybody is free on Saturday................

Bronco is slated to come apart this Saturday the more the merrier.

The beer will be cold and free for those participating.

The body is coming off the frame and anything else we have time for.

I will be taking some pictures of the process.
