Anyone have any suggestions on some new seats, I bought a used 06 s-crew with 40k miles on it and the cloth seats are killing me, I even put additional padding in the center section, still no luck. I might try to find a wrecked one with Leather are the Expidition the same bolt pattern.

 

If you had this issue why did you but it ?

 

I know that feeling.
My then New 05F350 Lariat had leather seats, the seats were so firm that after a 1 hour drive I was sore and uncomfortable. That wasn't the only reason I traded it in on this 07F150, but my cloth seats in this F150 are real comfy.
Could be your seats are worn out, I remember a friend w/a Dodge 3/4ton and the passenger seat was worn out at 50,000 miles, felt like I was sitting on the seat pan-his wife was huge, I think she wore it out..

 

cloth seats are horrible.

I love my Leather Captain Seats. real comfy for me/wife/kid for a 5,000+ mile trip.

 

I have the cloth interior with the center console in my 04 Screw F150 FX4. Really like it especially since the leather or vinyl gives me problems. I have about 42K on the truck. Only complaints are the back seat is sooo straight up that it is uncomfortable to sit in and that FX4 suspension is rough.

 

Seems like a mixed bag of comments on the seats... I might swap trucks with my buddy who has a 07 w/cloth and less than 20k miles and see if it's any different.

When I bought the truck I drove it around for 10 minutes and you don't notice that kind of stuff, I was more worried about transmission and suspension noises... who would have thought the seats would be a problem

 

When i first got my 06 screw the seats killed me, just not very much lumbar support. it was used etc. but i think it would have been the same thing for me brand new. After a couple of weeks of driving it, I guess i just got used to the seat because it doesn't bother me at all anymore.

 

I have an 06 Lariat with leather and they suck. They are way to hard and the have too many seams that just dig in after a few minutes.. Ford really needs to at least offer a better seat than whats available.. The look nice I'll give them that much..
