I have 2008 super crew 4x4 f150 and I want to get a leveling kit on the front of it because everyone knows that it sits high on the back. Where can I get cheap leveling kits and what size would I need to level it up. If anyone can knows please help. One more thing. If anyone knows where I can get some cheap 33inch tires please help. Thanks
I would suggest checking ebay. I believe a lot of people have purchased their kits there. If you do a search on here, you will find some forms where people mentioned different types of kits they prefer and heights. I purchased 2.5" and am very glad I did.
I would not get anything bigger than a 2" front kit. Put on a 2" AS kit on my 08 screw Lariat and the back sets 1" lower than front. I do have a topper. Ended up with firestone air bag on back.
Do you have the towing package? Not sure exactly the difference but I have it on mine (does have 4 rear leaf springs), installed the AS 2" leveling kit and it sits almost perfectly level.
I have towing package. Also have lear topper. I was sitting around 3/4 low in rear. With Firestone Ride Right bags-25psi-I am 40" from ground to wheel well lip sitting on factory 20" rubber.
yea I got the tow package. I want to level it out and put me some 33inch tires on it. I dont want to get too much on the front where the front sits higher than the back.
2.5" front leveling kit on mine.
It was level but if I put anything in the bed, the rear end would drop and the truck would "boat"
I hated that so I out a rear air leveling kit on it....no problems now.
So just keep in mind that if you put a leveling kit on the front, your truck is ging to look funny with any kind of load in the bed or in tow.....
Leveled front with rear air bags...with around 10psi in them.
I got my 33 Mickey Thompson baja mtz and classic II rims from a store in Ohio. I beleive it is called Jordan Tire. They shipped them to my door mounted and balanced for 1580. That was 500 cheaper then the places around me.
