Talking Installing Power Seats

Tomorrow I'll be installing power seats out of an '05 in my truck. The factory wiring harness on my truck is the same as the one on the 05 seat, but the 05 connector has three wires in it. And the one on my truck has two wires in it. I'm guessing that I just need to add a hot to the harness for the seat??? I've searched and looked for diagrams and so far came up empty handed. Have any of y'all upgraded to power seats, or have any ideas on this?
Thanks

No heat, just power driver seat. BTW Jim, have you had any trouble with the workshop manuals link?

Their grey cloth. Once I get the XLT upgrade done, it'll be time to upgrade to late 99 .

Whats your idea on a turbo there Huck, Van or just find a stock turbo and throw on it? I am gonna ask a feller I know about has a windowed block that has the turbo and HPOP on it but it is a 99 I have never been able to get out of him if it is a late or early 99.

I am doing the same thing. Making my XL an XLT. I put power seats out of an 04 in mine and all I had to was get the hot wired in. They work great. The seat belt light was a straight plug in play. They are a helluva lot better than a bench.

Sounds good Zack. Where did you tie your hot into on the truck? Also is it fused?

I am pretty sure that I used fuse #13. It is a key on power source, I cant remember what it is used for. Vacuum pump or something, but I have had it going for 8 months now with no problems.

No problem. Hurry up and get them seats installed and post some pics. Do yours have the seat belts in the seats. Mine do and they are very comfortable, but now I can't figure out what to do with the studs on my pillar.
