Here is another EGR question. i was sitting at sonic and check engine light came on so i took it to autozone for it 2 get scanned and it popped that up. i have been researching it for bout an hour now and every1 talks bout hooking up and pulling vacuum on the egr. and cleaning the ports. well i have a couple questions before i dig into it. my truck is a 2005 f150 stx with 4.6. now i dont see the hose on top of my egr to hook up a vacuum. it has a sensor plugged in and 2 small hoses in side of it, also a bigger hose hooked up kinda on side of the egr. which do i hook up the vacuum 2? also im guessing i need 2 pull my throttle body and clean it with carb and choke cleaner? do i need 2 clean all the hoses that hook 2 th egr as well, to make sure they not stopped up? thanks every1. i just became a lifelong member today.

Randall...I don't have a clue how to check it but you might want to also post this in the "Modular V8" forum and see if someone there knows....
