1983 F-350 dana 70 axle hub

Does anyone have an idea where I might find a rear hub for a 1983 F-350 2 wheel drive dual wheel truck? The axle is a dana 70.

Thank you Brian

Try these people. I could not find just the hub, but found the whole rear axle. They may have other axle parts laying around.

Talking 83 ford dana 70 rear axle hubs

I called truck country but that said they did not have anything for me. Would a 1984 F-350 axle or hub be the same as a 1983 F-350 axle (referring to the change in the slide on brake drum in the 1985 model year?.) I have been told a change to the brake drum took place in 1985? This type of problem with the axle is something that I never have dealt with. Ford stated that they no longer have the hubs

Thanks, Brian

The site I went to is Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market. This is a site a lot of the junkyards are members of. It automatically does interchanges, and seems to be right most of the time. Since I could not find anyone that had just the hub, and instead searched for the complete axle, it brought up a 84 axle. So the only thing to worry about there is the axle fitting on the springs. A lot more years will interchange doing it that way.

So you might be right on your brake drum slide interchange.

What is interesting is do a search on the whole axle like I did, and see how many different types of axles there are. It's a lot of them. I picked the 4.10 dual rear wheel, pickup type axle. Those other "F" type axles are for chassis cab trucks and they are 4 inches narrower than a dually pickup axle.
