So is the calif 1997 460 the only one with mass air???

Want to put a mass air 460 in my 1980 ford truck(building a tow vehicle)

Owe I forgot to ask is the 1997 mass air 460 OBD 2

 

After 96 should be OBD-2. My truck is a 95 and it is OBD-1. As I understand, any small block for after 96 equipped with Calif. emissions will have mass air. I am not sure on 460's as I am curious too. Hopefully someone has a better answer then I do.

 

my understanding is calif is the only ones with mass air.my 97 dont have it.

 

96 & 97 California modles have SFI MAS AIR and they are OBD2. The 97s are the only 460s to not come with air injection from the factory 96s and back had air injection. I have also herd but cannot confirm that Massachusetts got MAS AIR also. If you look in my gallery I have pictures of a 97 with MAS AIR.
