Question Lariat vs. King Ranch

Does anyone know what the difference is b/n the Lariat and the King Ranch? I purchased a Lariat and was wondering what I may be missing/getting if I had of gone with the King Ranch.

KR leather seats and KR badging is about the only difference between what you can get with the Lariat v. the KR edition.

Ooops, I did forget the Dark Cooper exterior color as well. I think it is still only available on the King Ranch, but you can get the other 3 colors on the other trucks. They did talk about changing that due to the popularity of the Dark Cooper, but I don't think that they have. It might have just been a rumor around here as well.

Over the top? Nah, this should be standard equipment.

What are the extras? I only see trim and color differences listed in rmosso1 's post.

Probably most of the options are available on a Lariat, as extras. I clearly show what is included with the 17 K package. You could go in an look what is included in other packages. The site I look at, to get the info posted, is 44 pages long. Too much to post. If you look inside comparable trucks, you will see the difference. Only other option I would want is the hand rail near roof on passenger side. My truck is pretty well loaded.

Don't get me wrong, but I don't know of any option available on the KR that isn't available on the Lariat.

I love the look of the KR and until I saw this post, I didn't know you could get a KR with a rear bench seat. That's the reason I got the Lariat because I couldn't use the rear captains chairs with the console.

At least I know I saved some money getting the Lariat .

BTW, where is/are the ducts to carry the AC to the back seat?

I just ordered an F350 SRW KR for 2009. All I've owned are KR's, I love the feel and the smell of that particular leather in my truck. I am only chiming in to say a Lariat that is equally optioned was $330 less. My MSRP was 60,855 vs 60,520. I ordered through a denver dealer and they discounted $7,500 plus incentives at time of delivery.

If you like a high quality leather...and will take the time to care for it...then I say spend the extra cash.

Just my 2 cents!

Price. I have a lariat but in 04 that didn't mean very much, if you have the money the color of the king ranch interior can't be beat! I need to get a couple of them seats to put in my living room

Now that the KR F150 isn't the king anymore will there be a F250/350 Platinum?

We looked at a couple of KR's but didn't like the Butterscotch interior.
