Last spring I stepped up from a 04 F150 to an 06 F250. I couldnt pass up the deal. Its an XL supercab 4x4. 49xxx miles and absolutely mint! I love the transmissions in these things! The last truck had the little 4.6. Super reliable little work horse, but everything else around it wasnt. Really didnt need a 3/4 ton since I only tow a car hauler with a few quads on it twice a year. After two rear ends, brakes non stop, a transmission and a few sets of ball joints all before the 100 thousand mile mark I figured a 3/4 ton couldnt hurt! Its equipped with the 5.4. To be honest this big truck with that little motor would blow the doors off the F150 with the 4.6! This site is absolutely awesome! Thankyou to everyone who contributes!!!!!

I recently purchased a 2004 Ford F2-50 XLT Diesel 6.0l 4X4. It has Rancho shocks with Ballistic Morax wheels and Nitto Durra Grapplers. Drove it from TX to CA with no problems! Loving the truck so far even though it has the "tempermental" 6.0. Looking forward to browsing the forums!

 

New monkey on the block, here, too. Just picked up a new F250 Platinum 4x4 as an office on wheels (with a little added fun thrown in for good measure— all work and no play makes Ad something-something). Happy to be learning from you all.

I've been lurking since I purchased the truck in September. Got to see the truck for the first time two weeks ago (I was out of the country) and have completed a couple mods--SEIC high idle, Upfitters powered during remote start and parking brake bypass. I'll post the details for all to see.

Hello all!, just got my first Ford, So I thought I would have a look around the village!!

 

Where can i find info on 4 wheel drive ... I got stuck other day in deep snow with ice layer under the snow and had my front drivers tire and rear passenger tire spinning, but the other two tire werent moving is this normal??
