Hey you all out there in Ford country. Thanks for letting me join the club. Hope to see some awesome rigs out there and get some good feedback on a variety of issues that may come up. This is my first truck. I am retired and once I got my truck I felt like a teenager again. Never had a muscle car to trick out so I am trying stuff to make my ride something I can be proud of without going too over the top.

Day one.

Today, 16 SCREW, XLT 5.0 Coyote, Shadow Black, 302a package FX4 off road, 3.55, ARE z Series top, Line-X bed coating, hidden tailgate step, rear wheel well liners, Weather Tech mats, bushwhacker fender flares, BFG 275/60/20 KO2's, Aries Pro Series textured bull bar. Diode Dynamics LED reverse and plate lights, DeeZee tailgate damper. Some more to come.

1987 F-150 to me new!

Hello everyone

I'm new here so I wanted to tell you about this F-150 I just got. It was used for hauling heavy stuff so it was stripped down for raw power so needless to say they took everything off but the carburetor. The body is in decent shape though makes for a good fixer-upper.

1987 Ford F-150 5.8L

As time goes on I'll let you know my progress.

New to Super Duty

Thought I would take a minute to say hi to everyone. I have been on this forum for a while but I am new to the Super Duty. I have spent some time over in the "Slick" section as I have a '64 that I am working on.

I recently picked up my first F250 so I have been looking around at fixes and all the good stuff that goes with the 6.0. Truck details, 07 King Ranch FX4, 86xxx miles, MagnaFlo exhaust, blue spring, stock air box, Edge CTS guages, SCT tuner, coolant filter, guess that is about it. Love the truck but think I need to do few things to make it last.

Thanks in advance to everyone as I am sure I will have some questions.

satx,

Thanks, not bad for a 9 year old truck. And yes, I do favor the Red Raiders. In the North Dallas area now but went to school out there.

redraider,

Fwiw, "my treasured F250 Lariat" is 30 years YOUNG this year, with about 55,000 one-owner miles & that I found in a barn north of Ft Worth.

Btw, my Dad in 1936 got a "full-ride" to play FB & BB at Texas Tech. - He always said that he got off the train, spent a night listening to the howling wind, got back on the train at 8AM & went to LSU to play ball. = I always chuckled when he told that story.

Cut me & I bleed BURNT ORANGE.
(It must be admitted that our team has done a LOT of bleeding the last few years. = Hopefully, Coach Strong will "get it together" in 2016.)

yours, satx

76 F600 psd

Hello, I'd be a new guy to site and all this forum stuff. I'm gettin ready to start on a 7.3 psd swap into a 76 F600 4x4. Figured there might be someone who has done it and maybe take some of the head scratchin out of it.

Welcome redraider25! I love the F250. That has been one of my favorite body styles. We had the F450 ambulances that were that generation for years and I think they were some of the best trucks we ever had.
