replacing sway bar ,93 f150 4x4
I want to replace/reintall my front sway bar, I have a 4 inch suspension lift and a 2 inch body lift, also a superlift super steering kit, with triple ranchos in the front. What type of drop brackets do I need? Also one rancho on either side has dents in them from the existing bolts on the loop bracket for the sway bar. I dont have a problem replacing the sway bar with an aftermarket one which may be the case anyway. And is there anyway of keeping the shocks from being damaged? I havnt owned this truck very long so I am learning as I go. Any help here would be appreciated.

I saw this trick in Moses Ludel's book, "The F-Series Owner's Bible": They did a 4" lift on an '90 F-150, and simply swapped the sway bar end links end for end, turned those links upside- down, and ran those links oriented "down" instead of "up".
Sounds confusing but...free!

LAST EDITED ON 12-Feb-01 AT 11:06 PM (EST)[p] I will try swapping those links. I dont suppose you have any ideas on the dented shocks? Can or should I adjust my steering stops out further? My truck has the turning radius of a bus now as it is, but I dont want to ruin my shocks any worse than they are now. I dont have a problem replacing but makes no sense at this point. Thanks for the tip...
