as the title says, ford won this one.

i did not get any pictures of what was left of the jeep, because the wrecker got there too fast.
but it was a 2007 jeep liberty. the whole driver side was stuffed into the space between the wheel and the windshield.

i was slowing down for traffic, doing about 5 mph. she did not, and hit me doing about 60mph.

i need a new bumper. the tailgate, exhaust, passenger quarter panel, and trailer hitch got bent.

Damn Tj, are you OK?

I hope the cops cited her at fault.

Definately take yourself to the doc.

After seeing the pics, I can imagine what the Jeep looks like. I had a Sentra hit my rear bumper. It knocked the pads off and scratchedthe bumper. It totaled the Sentra.

I had a crew cab F150 hit me last year at 50mph from behind; I was doing about 10mph going around a corner. I will never be right physically; I will be in pain the rest of my days. The 2000 Grand Cherokee(lifted, 32's, V8, very handy vehicle) I was in saved my life and gave it's own for me The body crumpled to the point where the doors pushed under each other about an inch.

In my mind a truck will always defeat any other vehicle except for a truck based SUV. I now drive a F350 for fun and an 03 Accord for work(and yes I'm afraid, lol). People have no idead how force a truck carrys. I pulled out 3 trees in my yard with the 7.3, at IDLE, lol!!!

Tom, glad to hear you're OK

Mass X Velocity = Momentum.

Wow that sucks. Have any pictures of the whole truck for reference? Kind of curious also how the rest of the rear ended up.

hehehe. unless you know what you are looking at, it does not look like it was hit from the sides.

and yes, the yeep is now a heap.
i had a rough night. around 6 pm, the old back started acting up, and i was up most of the night icing it down. i am going to try going to work today. the doc can't get me in till tomorrow afternoon, so there is no sense sitting around if i can still work.

Tom, I hope your doing better today. Make sure you get that back looked at. The truck can get fixed, but your back is the only one you got.
Good luck and I hope your alright.

Yeah really! The other driver's insurance is sure going to cover it... Or better.

No excuse for not getting checked out right away - all sorts of bad things can happen even without any pain.

Glad to hear you OK. Trucks can get fixed easier than people, As others have said make sure you back and neck are ok.
