Just Pulled An Ice Cream Truck

On the way home from the Chinese Buffet, the family and I come up to a Nestle Ice Cream truck (an International medium duty box truck)stuck in the middle of the road. He broke down while trying to turn into a convenience store, he was blocking two lanes and the middle turn lane. Horn blowing, someone actually yelled out of their truck telling him to get out of the road. I hooked the strap up and pulled him out of the road and into the parking lot out of harms way. Honestly, my fifth wheel seemed heavier because it didn't take much to get him moving. Before any of you ask, no pictures were taken, the thought was to get traffic flowing again. I know I had a perm-a-grin moment when I felt the strap catch and we were rolling! Just thought I would share.

Did you get any free samples for your assistance? I pulled a garbage truck a couple of blocks to a gas station a couple of months back when he ran out. (I didn't ask for any samples)

It's amazing how many people will honk and get mad when someone breaks down, then just drive on by. Lucky for him, you were there to help. Nice work.

It is always a great feeling to put someone else on the hook and give them a pull. My best one recently was pulling a Dodge out of deep mud hole while off roading. It had mud and water to the top of it's tires. It took a few jerks on the strap but I got him out. BTW, I didn't have the Super Duty, I was off roading with the old beater 78 Bronco and had to use it.

I think there's usually a line of trucks waiting to offer a pull to a broke down beer truck. Of course If I was going to be broke down, I can't think of a better truck to be stuck in. It'll take 4 hours for the wrecker to get here? No problem, take your time.

Ice cream truck..was it the kind that plays music? Because I'm reliving this scenario out in my head and it would be more entertaining if there was some clown ice cream music playing.
