door panel removal
reading the sterio thread reminded me of a project i need to takle pretty soon, both my door speakers are intermitin you hit a bump and one stops working you hit another bump the other stops working hit another bump they both come back on. i assume its a loose wire problem, if anyone wants to post a quick how to on removing the door panels it would be apricated, any hidden screws or anything like that.

yup power windows and door locks, is the connector on the back side of the switch or is there some wire coming off the switch and then a connector....in other words would it be easier to just pop the switch panel off first and disconnect or to loosen the door panel and then pop the connector?
i never have good luck with door panels..lol i can tear down and engine and rebuild it but door panels always give me trouble for some reason...lol most the time its because i miss a screw or two and start yanking and break something

ok thanks if i have time i might try pop one of them off in the morning and have a look, although you may be right about the problem being behind the radio as well. but i have a suspension that they are not orrigional speakers in the doors and someone probably just twisted some wires onto the speaker terminals

I agree with Neal, I also unscrew the window switch/door lock and pull it out and unplug it before trying to remove the door panel. I just find that easier than trying to unplug it after the panel is loose. Also don't forget about the marker light on the bottom rear of the door panel, this one I do remove after the panel is loose. Just my .02.

You can use a wire, like of that of the "clips" paralel to the screw and at the end you can cut it. here in my country some bags come with a wire covered by plastic (I dont know how to name it ) but also works fine.
