Bought a new ranger

i just bought a new 2008 ranger with the 2.3L with 5sp. auto. Nice little truck, good on gas. But...It has under 2000 km on it and since i bought it a month ago, it runs pretty rough. Accelerates good and everything else, but waiting at at a light the motor shakes and you can feel it on the steering wheel. Then when its in park you can hear a light clacking noise like a diesel engine, like a "clack clack clack" noise,. Its faint but still, what the hell? Brand new vehicle! Do any other 2.3L owners have this problem? I know 4 cylinders run a little rough (not so much honda) and is this just "normal"? Is this reliable? Thanks for any insight.

galaxie641 is gaining momentum as a positive member of FTE.
Take it to the dealer for repair under warranty.
