Anyone know what happened to FPP in Norwalk, Ca? I called them to get some replacement FE pistons (they customize TRW forgings) and I got a Golf Shop.

 

Ya, seems a few years ago it closed up? Can't recall exactly when.

 

I'm sorry to hear that. If ever there was a company that made excellent products, but was completely lacking in customer service, FPP was it. So it's not a shock they closed. Too bad though.....

 

try EGGE, Inc. I got cast type L2291 pistons through them "thanks to FFR428/Glenn"... maybe they forge as well? They make them on site so it's quite possible

 

Thanks.....I have an e-mail off to them (Egge) now.......I forgot about them, but it turns out I have their 1994 catalog still.....LOL.

I did goof on the casting number.....turns out my pistons are L2143s, re-machined for the longer 428 stroke, and for a calculated CR of 9.5:1 based on a 70cc head.

 

Ron Miller? Last info I have on them is from 04 when they moved. See if this helps...

Been a few years since I've talked to Ron. At the time he had a few Mustang projects I was interested in. Can't remember for sure but I think he's out of the engine parts game. And just selling body parts and project cars. Had to be 05 last I talked to him. Might have his email if you need it. That's if I remembered to tag his name in my addy book. LOL
