Hey, doesn't hurt to change things up every once in a while. Nebraska is the opposite. They need to get their running game going (which is something I thought I'd never hear myself say about Nebraska!).

I remember the old husker days when the Option offense would make most teams look silly.
That's quite a spread... the defense is awesome again this year, but the offense needs to get things figured out before I'll believe in a spread like that.
Of course, it would be really cool if the Pokes proved me wrong...

Powder River, let 'er Buck!
I thought it was way high a spread also considering North Dakota State is ranked #1 in the nation in the FCS football poll. If I was the off. coordinator I would be throwing the ball 80% of the time and just see what happens. The rest of the season doesn't look real promising for the win column so they need to figure out what works better now, running or passing.
Running the ball has seemed effective so far... it just hasn't translated into points. Even a predominently running team still has to be able to complete a pass every now and then, just to keep things honest. The line of scrimmage has been one of Wyoming's strengths so far, I think they should continue to run the ball and win the battle at the line of scrimmage. If they can figure out how to avoid all the friggin' turnovers and actually get some points on the board, they will be a very tough team to play.
Of course, all we've seen so far is home games. The true colors will show on the road.
