Let me just add something for clarification, FTE will determine whether an FTE chapter is viable.(See Chapter Guidelines)

Neither Dave, Bud or Paul individually or together can "dissolve" the Maryland Chapter.

That is all!

I don't wish to dissolve the chapter and I'm not advocating Dissolution. I would just like it if more people in the chapter would participate just once in a while. I know everyone has things to do and I'm not expecting everyone to cancel everything else to show up for a meeting, but if people want to see the chapter grow then they need to participate in whatever we need to do to accomplish some goals.
On another note about FTE spotter cards. I personally don't touch anyone elses property, I have respect for that. I hand it to the person who owns the truck and talk about the chapter and the benefits that it can provide for those who wish to be a part of it.

I hope everyone sees how this chapter brings people together and lends a helping hand.

Just my 2 cents.

Why isn't this stickied anymore? Shouldn't this be an important discussion?

Why is it that any time I start to get involved the message gets buried?

Ease up, it wasn't buried, in fact it must have been the first or second thread after the READ FIRST threads.

I unsticked it at the request of the CL because the top of the page was getting too cluttered, and someone would have complained about that also.

PM me if you need a further explanation.

I'm just trying to figure out a few things here.

Where is our "Leader"? Why hasn't he chimed in? We start talking about important club stuff and he doesn't have time or something? He can, however, post in the BS thread? This just doesn't make sense.

Have you not read posts 4-6-10???? I believe those were from Dave!! Also look around at some of the other discussions held. He posts in the B/S section because that just happens to be where everyone else is! Seems like a lot of our "members" don't bother to even LOOK at these other topics!

As I am the Asst CL, in most cases, I can speak for him too..... He and I converse often behind the scene on this topic...in fact membership and apathy comprises much of our conversations. He also has to spend copious amounts of time in the CL forum with FTE.

If you have something specific you would like an answer to from Dave, send him an email or PM. He will answer you personally!

As an example...look at the newest request "CALLING ALL MEMBERS". Take a gander at how few have complied!

Chris, Conrad
Most of us respect other peoples property enough not to
put fliers on vehicles. I do not do it nor do I condone it

If a flyer is used I either hand it to a person or as at shows
put it on the seat.

Spotter cards are a little better but still prefer to hand it
to someone.
I certainly get mad if any flyer is left on my vehicles for any
reason and I really would not have much respect for a club that
did the same.
