those meats look sweet on your truck, hope you have fun wheelin' but I wouldn't even think about taking my CC alot of places my jeeps have been, mostly back woods wheeling where room to manuver is very hard to come by, but for open trails you should have alot of fun!! be sure to post up some pics from your trip!!

The point of mounting on the cab roof allows more of a circular pattern.
Think of it like this. The truck is part of the antenna, depending on where you mount it.
The position wont effect much, but your signal will reach further forward then a traditional location.
No, actually it's just the opposite, the body becomes part of the ground plane and you'll transmit better to the rear.
