Good Guys Great Lakes Show
Beautiful day in Madison, Wisconsin last Saturday. Saw some incredible cars and trucks. Something for everyone.
Took a few shots of some of the Effies I saw but I'm sure there were more there. Check my gallery. Wasn't the best photography day for me. Bright sun and glare.
Since I own a 55 panel I'm always on the lookout -- well I wasn't disappointed! Saw 2 gorgeous panels, a 55 and a 56, both burgundy and from what I could see, both very well done. Made my day!
Cars shows make me crazy. On one hand I get all fired up about working on my vehicles and on the other when I see some of these beautiful vehicles I can't imagine how I will ever be able to build anything that looks so good. Maybe a 'Rat Rod'?

Jeff,
Great pictures, I wish I could have taken a drive over on Saturday but I had a barn floor to do.
I hope you can make it to the Dells in September for the Dash:

I've been looking at the Dells show the last couple years. About how many trucks are there? It's a long trip for me but I'd love to go. Don't get to very many shows way up north. Maybe the Dells show would be worth a try. I'll have to see if I can get the time off.

Last year there were, I think, 10 panels and about 35-40 trucks. I'm hoping that the price of gas isn't going to diminish the show this year. Back To The '50s show didn't seem to be hurt too badly, I've heard there were the same amount of cars as last year. Maybe the Ford truck guys saved their gas money for this one Ford specific show. I haven't been able to go to many show this year but I'm making a point of going to the Dells.
