I just paid $3.45 in Barre Vermont, and that was on road ultra low sulfur diesel. Filled the tank as full as I could get it.

Maybe I should run a pipeline form Vermont to Long Island. Things are still going up around here.

hey guys, sorry it took so long...

if you go to The Grease Works Online Store they have the fuel lines you need to convert (necessary for biodiesel or veg. oil). The kit is $135.

To use vegetable oil, you'll also need a couple more feet of the sae30r9 hose, and some more of the ABA hose clamps (regular clamps will make the hoses leak). I put a plate heat exchanger I bought on ebay for about $100 underneath my truck, right by the tank switch area, and ran the fuel hoses so that the fuel ran through the exchanger, and coolant hose from the engine back to the exchanger, and back again. I wrapped it with pipe insulation and tie-wrapped it to the truck. Took a couple of hours, and about $250... I'll try to get some pics soon. Good luck!

I paid $4.15 today just outside of Nashville. The little country store near the house is still at $4.69. Looking forward to under $4.00. My wife found gas for 3.27 so she was happy too.

Hey Maverick! Where did you get it for 4.06? Not that it matters much. I'm not going to drive the 22 miles each way just to save a few cents. Just wonder'n. Lufkin prices will get there. 4.11 here.

Maverick, howdy neighbor! I got my truck back in May. It's still stock but I have some modest plans for her. 1st diesel doancha know. I drive like a grandpa most of the time, partly because....well.....I am one. But also cause I like being able to drive something thats a blast to drive, and I avg 18 mpg around town including my short (15mi) commute to work, doing it.

Do you have a local place you get your filters from? Fuel & air?
