Speakers hooked up?

I picked up a set of Logitech speakers at Future Shop this spring - less than half price and came with 5 speakers and a sub. It isnt studio hall quality but with Sirius coming through, its pretty good to listen to while doing stuff around the house. I found my laptop speakers to be too tinny sounding!

I have a desktop with some Bose speakers hooked to it. Sounds pretty good for little speakers.

I have a pretty good "cheapy" laptop that I use most of the time, and a pretty cool desktop that I built that I never use anymore. We have a logitech speaker system with a sub for the desktop and it pounds.

Laptop speakers never really are that great, understandably so.

I bought an acer aspire something or another for 700 bucks. Im a computer guy so for me its a cheapy. I was looking at 1500 dollar laptops, but I didnt wanna buy a nice one just to take on the road and beat the hell outta.

Theres nothing wrong with a cheaper laptop, unless your a computer guy and you want the speed for this that and the other thing

We just got, coming from a Dell laptop. Pros and cons for both.
Pros: fast, virus free, user friendly

Cons: few programs not compatible, some different function that require getting used too, not a big deal though.

Cool I really would like to try one out. There is actually lots of little programs that a person is supposed to be able to get to use windows programs.

This thing is pretty good, for the most part once you plug something in it will just recognize it and work. For example we have a canon printer. In the Dell when we first plugged it in the computer did not notice it and did not recognize what driver was needed. The Mac, we just plugged it and it worked...don't know how but it just did.

Thats one of the huge differences in how the OS is made. Windows is SUPPOSED to do that, but like you, I have had that problem lots.
I always manage to find th edriver online and whatnot, so its not a big deal, but sure would be nice for it to work like it was designed to!
